Kevin Felt

I received my bachelor of science in biochemistry from the University of Washington in 2018 and my PhD in physiology and biophysics from Case Western Reserve University in 2025. My dissertation research utilized cryo-EM to determine the structural basis for ligand modulation of the 5-HT3A receptor, a pentameric ligand gated ion channel. I will continue exploring transmembrane signaling in the Kruse lab in the context of GPCR signal modulation by KCTD proteins using cryo-EM and other biophysical methods.
